Great quality, great picture, terrible sound.
The Samsung PN50B550 proves that you do not need to spend $2k or go LCD to get a great set. The quality is amazing, and the burn-in issue that Plasmas are known for are virtually non-existant.
The TV is very tough and seems to be quite sturdy.
The one issue with this TV is the sound. Which I hear is a common issue w/ Samsung HDTVs. If you do not have a semi-decent speaker system, you will be highly disappointed.
Overall, a great deal.
